Acquisition of Foris Outdoor expands Alight’s digital billboard portfolio across the UK and accelerates future growth.
Alight Media has announced the acquisition of Foris Outdoor, accelerating and broadening its digital roll out across the country. Alight’s digital 48 sheet network is already number 1 for unique towns, number 2 for total towns, and Alight is now expected to become the leading provider.
Alight already engages a quarter of the adult population, every fortnight, through more than 1,500 OOH advertising sites. By bringing previously overlooked areas to light, Alight will continue to deliver new locations, supporting advertisers looking to reach audiences in every corner of the country, bringing the true power of digital out-of-home media everywhere.
The Foris Outdoor acquisition includes a strategic partnership with Wildstone Capital, the market leaders in outdoor media infrastructure. This partnership will add hundreds of digital screens to the Alight portfolio in towns and cities across the UK. Alight Media’s development team will work in partnership with Wildstone to develop this high-quality portfolio.
According to the latest AA/WARC ad expenditure forecast, spend on digital OOH will increase 52% in 2021, demonstrating the power of the medium and its growth potential as it outperforms the wider market, which is predicted to grow 6.9% versus 2019.
